1-The game Tennis was introduced by Major Wingfeild in           Wales in 1870.

2-All England Championship (populary known as Wimbledon    Championship) started in 1877 for men only. Tennis  

3-competitions for women (in Wimbledon Championship)          were introduced in 1884.
